When interviewing management companies, please
take time to consider the following:
-
Will
the company have the on-site presence you
require?
-
Will
they provide adequate direction to council?
-
Will
they suggest ways to complete the required
repairs and maintenance necessary at a lower
cost or provide alternatives, or will they
give the experts and contractors free rein?
-
Do
they keep you apprised of government rebate
programs for your upgrades?
-
Will
they take time to question the way everything
is done to make sure you are getting full
value for all the services you have requested?
-
Are
financial statements accurate and completed
in a timely manner?
-
What
is the workload of the company and your manager?
-
Are
they a company which will take time out to
question the invoices?
-
Are
they available to deal with realtors and inspectors
at the critical time when an owner is selling?
-
Are
phone calls returned in a timely manner?
-
Are
expectations met?
-
Are
their systems computerized?
-
Are
they accountable?
